Hey appreciated readers!
After last week’s post, aren't you wondering what happened on Friday?
Being the last day before the weekend, Mademoiselle Tosh decided to surprise us in French class and let us carve some pumpkins! It was awesome, and some people actually took a dare and decided to get into all of the goop inside the pumpkin. Unfortunately, the pumpkins did not survive until the big day.
They were fun while they lasted though.
Did you also know we had a guest speaker come to us to teach us all about local natural disasters ? He also discussed emergency preparedness.
Hopefully everyone has their kit at home.
Our guest speaker talked about being prepared for natural disasters and which ones are classified as risks to Simcoe County. He even showed us pictures from past natural disasters in Barrie. It was really cool and some people got to share their blackout stories.
The next day, we watched a film called “Just Eat It” (which you should know about from previous entries), but before we went everyone sang “Happy Birthday” to Nyah (or me).
Thanks for reading,
Megan O. and Nyah
